Dear Thalia

A documentary on what it's like living on the sidewalk of Kaka'ako, Oahu. Dear Thalia follows The Martin Family (Tracy, Tabatha, and Thalia) homeless and living in Kakaako, Oahu, Hawai'i. Filmed over the course of 4 months.

Living in paradise with the cost of living and the burden of acquiring a home (by rent or ownership), it's very common to have people working multiple jobs or living with their parents. Add in the loss of a job, a medical situation/emergency, or any other variable - could potentially have you sleeping on a friend's couch/or worse, on the streets. See what it's like to live on a sidewalk in Kakaako.
