Life After Garbage

Social Justice/Visual Anthropology Documentary; that talks about Waste Politics and Reuse Culture in the SF Bay Area, or more specifically the ways that people understand themselves in relation to the objects that they choose to reuse. By exploring the ideas and philosophies as well as the spatial and aesthetic choices that arise from their decision to think in opposition to the larger culture of consumption operating in American society. This opposition stems from our subjects life histories and their social status as products of that consumer culture.
