Lilia Alejandra Garcia was just sixteen when she disappeared. A week later her mutilated body was found. She had been gang-raped and tortured. Lilia is just one of hundred of women who have been murdered in Ciudad Juarez. Journalist Diana Washington Valdez has spent the last five years investigating the killings. She believes the authorities are protecting the killers because they are prominent men with important political connections. "They get together and kill women in what can only be described as blood sport," she describes. Evidence has been ignored and innocent people framed while the real perpetrators have been left free. And the killings have continued.
