Brain rot became the defining psychological condition of Gen Z: endless scrolling, short-form addiction, algorithmic feeds, overstimulation, and the slow collapse of focus, creativity, and independent thought. Gen Z is the first generation to grow up fully inside the machine and recognize what it’s doing.
