Snappy Anarchistic Rant Two

Feminism

Somethimes I hear things that feminists say and sometimes they annoy me, or I feel accused or 'got at', Here is the thing though, half the bloody point is that it doesn't matter how I as a man feel about this, or that I don't have much to add to the conversation or whatever. The other thing that sometimes happens, and I'm new at this, is that I tell people that I'm in favour of feminism now, guys I know either think I'm joking or they say, "hmmm, I just believe in equality of both sexes, so I'd just say I'm, like, for equality, or a humanitarian or something, not a feminst".... and here is the other half of the bloody point, everyone says they want equality, good people say it and mean it, assholes say it and don't mean it, the real question is weather people are willing to admit that we don't have it! If we don't have it and if the world is still run by men and women are oppressed (look around you) then being a feminist is a much more dedicated commitment to equality becacuse it is actually trying to readress the actual real world, the only one we have where just saying you're for equality doesn't mean shit and doesn't change anything apart from making yourself feel better.
