Why Do I Feel So Lonely Inside? (trailer)

('Cause all of my society is supporting genocide)

   -A film in the making-

Elik is a musician in Israel. A self proclaimed anti-Zionist, he finds himself alone in front of the ideology of his society. As the actions of his country have worsened, his songs have become more radical and direct – to the mixed feelings of his mostly Israeli live audience. He takes on the role of the jester and tries to bring up consciousness from the depths of his surrounding culture of denial.

Together with Sivan - a filmmaker, they set out to capture the spirit of the times during the genocide in Gaza. The finished documentary will follow them on the road as Elik performs his music to willing and unwilling audiences, to varying degrees of acceptance and safety.
