Festival Museo Libre (2015)

A short documentary about a graffiti festival organized by a group of young artists who live in the periphery of the megacity Bogotá. With an annual graffiti festival they try to change the negative image of their barrio, stigmatized as a dangerous and violent place.

The documentary follows the process of the graffiti festival, Museo Libre, in Ciudad Bolivar, a district in the south of Bogotá. In the space of a month more than a hundred artists attended the festival to cover the walls of Ciudad Bolivar in murals. 

 

Un documental corto sobre un festival de grafiti organizado por un colectivo de artistas jóvenes que viven en la periferia de la mega-ciudad, Bogotá que a través del festival anual intentan cambiar la imagen negativa de su barrio, un lugar que sufre el estigma de ser violento y peligroso.

El documental sigue el proceso del festival Museo Libre en Ciudad Bolívar, una localidad en el sur de Bogotá. En donde durante un mes, más que cien artistas vinieron para cubrir las paredes de Ciudad Bolívar en murales.
