The small pueblo of San Juan la Laguna (Solola, Guatemala) sits on the edge of Lake Atitlan - one of the most beautiful lakes in the world. Pollution of all sorts threatens the lake - from increased industry and tourism to littering and trash dumping, and especially pesticides in the many fields on the hillsides around the lake.
