The Coffee Shed at the Surrey Place Centre has two operational worm composters and it was once again time for a Harvest Party. Volunteers and composters came out to see what the worms have done and how they have helped clean up our planet. Red wiggler worms are playing an ever-increasing role in waste management and soil production. Vermicomposting is a sustainable solution to climate change and it is food security 101.
