The Secret Reason Why Right Wing Parties Dislike Trans & LGBTQ+ People

This video discusses why right-wing political parties often focus on anti-LGBTQ+ policies and rhetoric. Mark Cusack, a former political advisor and LGBTQ+ advocate, explains that these parties primarily support the interests of the wealthy and big businesses. They face a challenge because a small percentage of the population holds most of the wealth, while many people struggle financially.

To maintain support, right-wing parties need to distract from wealth inequality and justify their economic policies that benefit the rich. They do this by creating a scapegoat or "underclass" to blame for societal problems. LGBTQ+ people, migrants, or other marginalized groups are often targeted as this scapegoat.

This strategy shifts blame away from wealth inequality and onto vulnerable groups who can't easily defend themselves. Cusack provides examples of wealth disparity, such as the 50 richest families in the UK owning more wealth than the bottom 33 million people.

Cusack argues that there is enough wealth for public services and to address societal issues, but it's being hoarded by a small percentage of the population. The video concludes by emphasizing that marginalized groups are not the cause of economic problems and encourages viewers to be aware of this political tactic.
