In order to shift the broken meat and dairy system, Greenpeace has one ambitious goal: the reduction of meat and dairy production and consumption by at least 50% by 2050. If left unchecked, agriculture is projected to produce 52% of global greenhouse gas emissions in the coming decades, 70% of which will come from meat and dairy.
We all want to live in a world with clean water, lush forests, and abundant and nutritious food. We want our children to be able to grow up strong and thrive on a healthy planet. With this in mind, Greenpeace International is launching a new global campaign calling for a major shift in the way we eat and farm, kicking things off with a launch film. Meet Team Plant!
