In this exclusive interview with former U.S. financial regulator, author and academic, William Bill Black, we define and talk about the role of a financial regulator generally. Thereafter we proceed to talk about “savings and loan” crisis in the United States during the 80s, what Bill uncovered during this time as a financial regulator and how this crisis paved the way for the financial crisis of 2008.
