Dear Thalia | PBS HAWAIʻI PRESENTS (2021)

Dear Thalia is a film that provides a rare close-up view of one homeless family’s story. Filmed over a four-month period, it follows Tracy and Tabatha Martin raising their three-year old daughter Thalia. The family lived at a homeless encampment in the Kakaʻako neighborhood in Honolulu after Tracy suffered a heart attack and then lost his job.
