On a phone, tap the arrow at the right of the video control bar to show hidden icons.
This film is on YouTube, whose player does not offer casting when embedded. Two ways round it:
- Open it on YouTube and use the cast button in its player. Best picture quality.
- Or mirror this tab. In Chrome, open the browser menu (three dots) and choose Cast. On a Mac, use screen mirroring from Control Centre. Keep this page open while you watch.

Safari supports AirPlay. On a Mac you can also mirror the screen from Control Centre.

This browser cannot send video to a TV. Open this page in Chrome for Google Cast, or Safari for AirPlay.
What you need on the TV
- Google Cast is built into Chromecast, Google TV and Android TV. Send from Chrome or an Android phone.
- AirPlay is built into Apple TV. Send from Safari, iPhone or iPad.
- Neither? A Chromecast or Apple TV plugs into any TV with an HDMI socket.
If your TV does not appear
- Same Wi-Fi. Your TV and your phone or computer must be on the same network.
- Turn off your VPN. It hides your TV from the search. This is the most common cause.
- One tab at a time. Close any other tab that is casting, then reload this page.
