Clean Up Or Cover Up - The Aftermath of the Worst Mining Disaster in Canadian History

When a tailings pond holding toxic waste from Imperial Metals Mount Polley mine breached on August 4th 2014 it released 10 million cubic metres of water and 4.5 million cubic metres of slurry into Polley Lake. They were met with resistance from "clean-up" workers and saw no evidence of the toxic waste being removed from the area.
