AJ+

Refugees are fleeing their homes by the thousands, risking their families' lives to try to find a way out of the violence. Most see Europe as a beacon of hope. We've sent a team to Budapest, Hungary, to follow a group of refugees on their journey.

In the first part of the report, Dena Takruri talks to refugees at the train station in Budapest as they wait for trains to taen them to their next border crossing.

Part 2 follows a family as they cross from Hungary to Austria.

In Part 3 Dena meets Mohammed, a 27 year old electrical engineer, and joins him and his friends in Austria as they headed towards the border with Germany.

Part 4, in the final installment Dena joins Mohammed and his friends as they waited at the German border.
