Åsmund Vonheim Seip: In the smiling forests of Pennsylvania, I had the chance to sit down with this beautiful man, Seppi Garrett. Seppi is a body worker, a massage therapist, a permaculturalist—but aren’t we all so much more than what we say we do? And what about the invisible things, the work that may actually be our work, but about which we struggle to find a language, other than, perhaps, beauty, or grace? What about grace? And what about trust? To stop myself from repeating blindly the mistakes I have learned, I need to find my way to trust. Trust in my heart’s ability to navigate the unknown, once I step out into it. Trust in the magic that appears when I let go of what I know and rest into a greater knowing, a state of grace.
Talking with Seppi helped me get in touch with a little more of that trust. I hope this short film we made together can serve that same purpose for you.
