20 Minute Neighborhoods Open House & Film Showing

Tue, Jul 12, 2011 4pm
99 West 10th Avenue

Does your neighborhood make you healthier? Does it promote walking? How does being able to get to grocery stores, schools, and parks within a 20 minute walk influence our health, our home values, and our community? Please join us for a thought-provoking evening centered on the many influences and impacts of 20 minute neighborhoods in Eugene.

In addition to display of data-driven maps and open discussions, there will be two scheduled presentations:

• 5:30pm: Listen to a short overview of the 20 minute neighborhoods assessment – with time for Q and A afterward.

• 6:00pm: LCHAY will host a screening of the 30 documentary minute film "Unnatural Causes - Place Matters" with group discussion immediately following.

This free, community event brought to you through partnership between City ofEugeneand Lane Coalition for Healthy Active Youth (LCHAY)
