Ubah / Change

Ubah (means CHANGE in the malay language) is a short film/musical about a man who lives in the kampung (village) of Malaysia, he gets sacked from his job and is forced to leave his village for the city (Kuala Lumpur) to survive, where he then loses all his money and tries to change himself to climb the ladder of success.

The director uses metaphors for how society is viewed today and showcases some of the social problems that are present in todays Malaysia. The south-east asian country is facing several problems such as poverty, unemployment, corruption, crime and racism.
