The Hottest Year In Human History, And Where We Go From Here (2024)

Award-winning filmmakers Anne Macksoud and John Ankele offer their new short film and call to action, THE HOTTEST YEAR IN HUMAN HISTORY: AND WHERE WE GO FROM HERE, featuring author, educator, and environmentalist Bill McKibben.

This 20-minute reflection is not only a wake-up call, it feels like a final warning. But there is some surprisingly good news as well. And, there are EFFECTIVE things that we can do!

The planet is experiencing the hottest temperatures ever recorded. 2023 was the hottest year on record. Recorded temperatures in 2024 are even hotter. Climate change is real and life-threatening. We’ve all heard the warnings and horrifying predictions. Time is running out!

In this short and impactful reflection, Bill McKibben shares why he is hopeful - as long as we heed the call to actively engage in solutions. We're in an "all hands on deck" moment.

Help us help the planet by sharing this film far & wide.

SHARE IT! We encourage climate activists, non-activists, students, nonprofit organizations, faith leaders & institutions –EVERYONE–to share this film.
