Free Hugs Cross Country | How Random Acts Of Kindness Are Needed Now More Than Ever

What do you do when you are fed up with the violence and hate that's constantly spewed across our media platforms? You take a trip across the country to remind people [and yourself] that it doesn't have to be that way. This summer, that's exactly what MaestroRiko did as he set out from Atlanta to share Free Hugs across the country, and in essence, live his musical manifesto. From city blocks to tourist stops, we greeted strangers from all walks of lives in hopes of sharing one thing: Love - the connection that binds us all, but we've simply become too distracted to experience it and too fearful to share it. MaestroRiko delves into the state of our society and how we all can be the change we wish to see.

In its present form, the “Free Hugs Movement” is part of a much larger social campaign spawned over a decade ago where individuals around the globe share random acts of kindness - most notably with a hug. Free Hugs is a reminder that whatever it is that you do, share it with love.
