What Happens When You Give 4000 Kids 2 Million Lego Blocks to Build the City of Their Dreams?

The LEGO® BUILD THE CHANGE workshop took place at the EcoCity2013 World Summit, 24 - 29 September 2013.

Connect4Climate collected online submissions from around the world to be displayed at the event: http://www.connect4climate.org/competition/buildthechange

More than 8000 visitors came to the workshops, including 4000 children and professionals from the EcoCity2013 conference. A giant EcoCity was built, covering more than 40 square meters.

The children expressed very mature messages of sustainability in their designs, from green spaces, to renewable energy and innovative designs, the children have shown us what their vision of a future city should be.
