World leaders just gathered at the UN in New York to discuss the climate, ahead of the main COP 28 climate conference coming up in November 2023. The president of that event is also the CEO of one of the world's largest oil and gas producers. So how, in the name of all things holy, can we possibly expect to make any progress there?
