Freedom Song - What Is Reality?

Culture is a matter of the heart. The heart needs time and space to shape the places that it meets. Who are we without this? Where do we exist emotionally? These photos were (predominantly) taken in Downtown Los Angeles in the 1990's. On Saturday afternoon the daily mask and deeper cultural identity struggled to meet in an acceptable order of the day. One lit the other, raw, fundamentally, free. Was it real or just me?

Who are we without this? Where do we exist emotionally?
