The Environmental Litmus Test (2015)

The Environmental Litmus Test is a short film exploring some of the key issues relating to the UN Climate meeting in Paris in December 2015 (COP21). It is a passionate plea for each and every one of us to get involved, The Environmental Litmus Test is a clarion call to action.

This film explores why a positive outcome from this meeting is essential, and how the decisions made there will affect us all. Global temperatures are rising and scientists say we must limit this to 2 degrees to maintain a safe environment. It is hoped that World leaders at COP21, will agree on a legally binding framework to avoid a catastrophic climate.

With interviews from George Monbiot, Guardian writer, and author, Natalie Bennett, Leader of the Green Party, along with scientists, campaigners across the generations, politicians and business experts, the film explores a range of powerful arguments about why climate change really matters, how it matters now, and how people can take effective action.
