An intimate and upbeat portrayal of anarchism in action and a creative critique of capitalism, the film begins by documenting the house, residents, projects and principles of the Richmond VA based Wingnut Anarchist Collective.

When plans are unveiled to gentrify a city park that serves as a safe space for many of the city's marginalized and vulnerable people and a distribution point for food not bombs, the collective organize an occupation (6 months before Occupy Wall Street). The collective are also shown helping to clean up in their community in the aftermath of hurricane Irene.
