I received a unique video - of a young American 13 year old, who has been held captive in various private institutions in Israel, since been snatched by welfare services 3 years ago along with her brother. She has escaped over 50 times, and here is a rare chance to learn from the child herself what happens inside institutions in Israel.
The UNCRC - Charter for the Right of the Child supercedes domestic law, and the girl knew she had limited opportunities to get her message out to the world, in an attempt to ask for help.
Taken at a young age from school, she has been kept in various private institutions, whose solution to her determination to get home, was to fill her with psychotropic drugs. She was separated from her brother within a few months, and has lost all the family she ever knew.
Despite all legal efforts, she cannot be allowed to return home. There is no evidence to prove she should be locked up. All efforts by lawyers failed to release her. It is a daily struggle for the legal profession who know how deep the corrupution is. She is not the only one. Of the 10,000 children taken in Israel annually, it is now known at least 50% do not need to be removed from their home.
