Voices of a People's History of the United States

Author Howard Zinn is honored at the NY Society for Ethical Culture, where actors, activists and authors read excerpts from his book, Voices of a People's History of the United States.

The practice of linking well known actors with speeches, letters, and essays from the Howard Zinn book started in 2003 and continued multiple times each year until the author's death in 2012.

This reading took place in 2004 and features performances by John Sayles, Lilli Taylor, Paul Robeson, Leslie Silva, and Wallace Shawn.
