Thousands Across Germany Protest Far-Right AfD

Protesters in Germany took to the streets to oppose the country's popular far-right party. The demonstrations took place across the country Saturday as the Atlernative for Germany party kicked off its election campaign. In the run-up to next month's federal election, polls show the AfD in second place with about 20 percent support.
