Anti-nuke campaigners spent a month shutting down the atomic bomb factory in Burghfield The peace group Trident Ploughshares were joined by a number of other groups for the demonstrations throughout June 2016 Their aim is to make it as difficult as possible for AWE Burghfield to carry on its work - the assembly, refurbishment and upgrading of the atomic warheads for Trident Britain's submarine-launched intercontinental ballistic missiles.
