A Safe Haven: Stories From a Dutch Primary School

In 2016 I had the privilige to spend 5 month with teachers at the Fontein primary school in Breda, Netherlands.

The Fontein school was right across the street where I live. At that time the refuge crisis was big news.
We saw a lot of bad press about refugees.

"There are so many of them! They do not fit into our culture!"

So I wanted to show something that we do not get to see often: the people who teach these children.
A glimpse of what it is like to teach refugee children.

And I found out that we are not swamped by refugees. And that we can deal with this crisis.
