WHY
We are responsible for the habitat we live in. We can save water, forests, ecosystems and animals and reduce climate and food insecurity just by changing our eating habits.
WHAT
A behaviour change campaign aimed at challenging individuals consumption habits of meat and animal products and raising awareness on sustainability concerns around the meat industry.
HOW
Individuals choose and commit to a one of three dietary categories structured on differing challenges of reduction in meat and animal product consumption for the month of May.
The campaign is not aimed at strictly switching to a completely vegetarian or vegan diet but a reduction in meat consumption, stances that, whilst valid, can be polarizing or exclusionary.
Through our web, app and social media platforms the user commits to one of the three alternative dietary categories/challenges, namely: POSITIVE PIONEER ; VIRTUALLY VEGGIE & GROOVY GARDENER (Please see more detail on our website)
Each dietary tier of commitment implies a different level of average water consumption and therefore in comparison to their diets before May is compared and a savings is calculated. This total level of water savings is averaged and is the primary metric for the campaign.
