Films For Action Is Making a Big Change, and We Want You to Be Part of It!

For all our supporters who haven't heard yet, last month we decided to make a major change to how Films For Action operates.

For the last 5 years, advertising on our website has been the primary way Films For Action has been able to grow and sustain itself. But with ever-changing Facebook algorithms, declining organic reach and the trend towards native Facebook video, it's become increasingly difficult to drive traffic to the site and hence, earn money from ads.

We're still reaching millions of people every week on Facebook and our base of supporters is larger than ever - we recently passed 900,000 fans on Facebook - but the revenue model that we used to rely on is essentially gone.

This could be a blessing in disguise, however. If enough people support the idea of an ad-free, member-supported FFA, we would love to remove ads on the site entirely and rely on our supporters to keep our site growing and healthy.

This is where you come in.

If you believe in Films For Action and why our site exists, we hope you'll become a Films For Action patron. As a way of saying thanks, with a $1 pledge, we'll remove ads on the site for you and for your friends with every dollar more.

Whether you decide to pitch in $1, 3, 5 or more per month, this regular income will ensure Films For Action will be able to continue growing our impact across the world, reaching millions of people every week and inspiring the shift to the more beautiful world our hearts know is possible.

As a community-powered learning library (we have over 35,000 site members who have contributed over 3,000 highly rated videos and articles to the site), we think this is how it was always meant to be.

100% funded by the people, for the people, and all living beings.
