George is the Founder of Carney's Community, which is a registered charity that helps young people from disadvantaged backgrounds by providing them with one to one mentoring, guidance and support. At Carney’s, everyone is welcome to join. Their focus is on education, employment and personal development, boxing classes, bike repair workshop, music studio, youth club, cooking classes, yoga and much more.
It’s a safe place young people can come and have people to talk to and build those social connections that will continue outside of the gym. Carney’s is not just a community of support, they are one big family.
