Dumpsters have arrived so we can get rid of the roofing materials that we peeled off the roof over the fall, winter, and spring. Please come help throw stuff in dumpsters! Even 15 minutes is helpful :)
Regular Schedule: Tuesdays 6:pm - weekly meeting to plan radio show. Wednesdays 6:30pm - Occupy Kansas City meeting. It is near Westport at Open Fire Wood Burning Pizza at 3951 Broadway St, Kansas City, MO 64111. Thursdays 5:00pm - IWW informal meeting. It is near UMKC at Sahara Restaurant at 320 E. 51st Street, Kansas City, MO 64112. Friday and Saturday nights - Informal visit at the Plaza while watching music. We usually gather sometime between 5pm and 8pm at Scooter's Coffee at 446 West 47th Street, Kansas City, MO 64112. We usually leave around 10pm or 11pm. Saturdays at noon - Work on renovating community center at 3109 Troost Ave, Kansas City, MO. Monthly - IWW formal monthly meeting alternate between Kansas City, MO and Lawrence, KS. The July meeting will be in Lawrence at noon on July 20th. Location will be confirmed later, but when we have it in Lawrence, we usually have it at Solidarity! at 1204 Oread Avenue, Lawrence, KS 66044. Monthly - Ida B Wells Coalition Against Racism and Police Brutality monthly meeting. This meeting is the second Friday of every month. The next meeting is July 12th at 3504 Woodland Avenue, Kansas City, MO 64109.
