Maximum Creativity at Minimum Wage

100%

If we are willing to work minimum wage at a dumb job that kills our soul, why not do our art instead, charge minimum wage or $10 an hour for it, gain a following and increase the prices as the art's popularity grows. This plan worked for me, I was tired of my sewing business so I went to the flea markets of Los Angeles and found a quick following basing my art rates at $20 at the time--this was 20 years ago. I had always wanted to find a way to help others get out of jobs they don't like and do their art instead so I started my group "Art Not Walmart."  Thank you Ted Quinn, Juan Devis and ArtBound from KCET Television in Los Angeles for making this presentation of me and my group.
