Alvaro Bedoya was investigating Amazon, X, and Walmart as an FTC commissioner. He’s also been a key ally of former FTC Chair Lina Khan. Donald Trump just illegally fired him and the only Democratic commissioner, Rebecca Kelly Slaughter.
“This isn't about Democrat or Republican,” Bedoya told us. “It's about who has power and who doesn't, and who wants the law enforced and who wants it ignored by prosecutors.”
