Uprooted Generation

A young Innu returns to the sight of the Indian Residential School in Sept-Îles to deliver a poetic tribute to its victims.

Part poem and part documentary, this film is dedicated to the victims of residential schools. Uprooted Generation includes reflections on cultural disconnection, personal and community trauma, resilience and the healing power of art.
