Over the last couple years, I’ve tried to bring an increased awareness to the relationship between judgement, compassion, and suffering--both within myself and the larger collective culture. I see the seductive trap of judgment as a source of so much suffering, especially in this current moment in time. But it is also a symptom of a deeper suffering, the separation and disconnection from who we truly are. If I can, instead, meet judgment with compassion, then I can also begin to transform separation into connection, fear into love, and suffering into the medicine that the world needs.
