In a sobering introduction he discusses the impacts of diminishing oil resources & the pivotal importance of a collaborative response to the crisis that will inevitable follow when this fundamental resource is no longer available. He continues by discussing the role of empathy in education, parenting & cultural evolution. He argues that society has been living off outdated ideas that are increasingly dysfunctional and that we need to actively work to change our mode of consciousness.
His sobering introduction leaves no stain on the quality of this presentation. Its informative, entertaining and at points his passion is inspiring, it is definitely worthwhile for the attentive listener whose thoughts are fuelled by the well knitted words of an interesting individual.
