In a new interview with NBC News Trump refused to rule out a third presidential run in defiance of the 22nd Amendment. He also clarified that his past statements about running for a third time were intended to be taken seriously. Moreover, Republican operatives are trying to find ways—both legal and illegal–to make a third Trump term a reality. Additionally, a new executive order signed by Trump, which gives DOGE access to local election data, raises legitimate questions about whether the next election will be free and fair altogether.
