The Singing Field | a Performance of Environmental Vocal Exploration

What can we learn about our selves and our environments by singing in place? Six singers improvise in various urban places and in a variety of acoustics to see if singing as a listening practice has the potential to raise awareness between self and environments.  In this mini documentary, the singers relay the experiences and insights they have as a result of singing in a reverberant place, at a rushing dam site, in a pedestrian mall, on a busy road, down an urban nature trail and over marshland.
