According to UK campaign group, Frack-Off: "Fracking is a nightmare! Toxic and radioactive water contamination. Severe air pollution. Tens of thousands of wells, pipelines and compressor stations devastating our countryside and blighting communities. All the while accelerating climate change. And to produce expensive gas that will soon run out."
On Saturday 12 Nov 2016, more than 2,000 anti-frackers from all over the UK marched through the rainy streets of Manchester to reject this fracking future.
It was the largest demonstration to date of a movement that is growing by the day …and it is a sign of things to come across our once green and pleasant land.
