Juliet Stevenson Appeals For Us to Help Refugees in Calais

Actor Juliet Stevenson went to The Jungle for a day and came back with this plea for us to help and for our governments to do more.

Part 2 is a longer 12 minute version of this video.

How you can help in Calais

  1. Money. These organisations will spend money well:
L'auberge des migrants (Local on-the-ground group that has an overarching coordinating role)
The vaccination centre (The medical tent)
HelpRefugees (Funds also go to warehouse and L'auberge)
Good Chance Calais (The theatre project)
Wanna Help in Calais (Sophie Besse's building project)
The Amazon Wish List (Buy what 'lauberge' thinks is needed, 1-click purchasable on Amazon)
LeisureFayre (Like the Amazon list but better financial terms and delivery)

  2. Volunteering. Make sure you contact the organisation of your choice before turning up so your effort can be put to best use
    Contact details for:
    Emails:
