Ben

Ben spent 32 years in prison after committing murder when he was 14 years old. This documentary is an exploration of his life one year after release, focusing on his seemingly constant struggles with transitioning into freedom and his hopes to find his new identity.

The film looks into the mental state that the murder has left him in, and how he attempts to adapt to a new way of living. With this in mind, ultimately the films purpose is to force audiences to question their moral stance on how we should treat murderers and ex offenders after release.
