Save the Internet: Senator "Whiplist"

By Free Press / savetheinternet.com

A handful of corporate hardliners in the Senate are introducing a "resolution of disapproval" that would give phone and cable companies unrestricted power over the Internet. We need your help to ensure your senators don't support this free speech-killing resolution.

The resolution would destroy existing Net Neutrality protections and strip the FCC of its authority to protect Internet users from carriers that seek to block our right to speak freely, connect with one another and share information on the Internet.

What To Do

1) Find where your Senators stand on the current legislation by entering your zipcode in the new Free Press campaign.

2) The website breaks down how you can help the cause by generating your Senators' phone numbers and a small message you can pass along to them.  Depending on their stance, you are able to either "THANK" your Senators if they are opposed to the resolution, "NUDGE" them if they are on the fence, or "SPANK" them if they are opposed to Net Neutrality.

3) Finally fill in a few details about your conversation.  Who did you talk to, etc.  Free Press will use this data in future campaigns.
