Why environmental sustainability and social justice must go hand in hand?

Cities increasingly suffer from poverty, inequality and ecological unsustainability. Yet, projects geared toward urban sustainability often neglect issues of justice. As a response, the UrbanA project takes up the challenge to co-creatively synthesize and broker knowledge for sustainable and just cities and translate this knowledge into action.
