This video is my artistic response to what I see going on in our country right now - using music, imagery, and narration as a means to that expression. I composed the music, wrote the narration, and did the editing. The video images are all stock footage and images from the news and multiple sources. It is social/religious/political commentary in an abstract form.
The world is tribalising - but not in a singular, easily discernible, way. We have developed into a culture where the consequences of questioning ideology can cost friendships and familial isolation, where people willfully disregard information and understanding, and where religion has transformed into a doctrine of personal prosperity.
Why do we allow this?
Fear is the binding force of it all. Fear is the tool being used by our religious, political, and financial leaders to intentionally keep the money flowing to them and their own interests. We are being divided and conquered with a calculated and purposeful intention. And this culture exists because we play into the hands of fear. - Timothy
