Solidarity Means to Leave No One Behind. Beyond Citizenships and Across Borders.

Solidarity - an amply applied term these days. A comprehensive and infinite word that in the realm of politics nowadays mostly comprises a rather narrow understanding, that seems to mainly refer to ‘us’ rather than ‘them’. Time to take a step back and re-discover the root, the intrinsic meaning of this tender keystone of human togetherness. In a documentary project by German filmmaker Nina Hölzl about solidarity in times of Corona people from Berlin, over Paris to the Aegean share their understanding of solidarity and how it can and must be applied in the current state of crisis. The consensus is clear: Solidarity means to leave no one behind. Beyond citizenships and across borders.
