Boogie Man: The Lee Atwater Story (trailer)

Winner of both the Edward R. Murrow Award and the Polk Award for Excellence in Journalism, 'Boogie Man' tells the story of the king of trash politics. Lee Atwater, the brilliant and ruthless Republican political consultant and strategist who eventually became chairman of the R.N.C. by mastering the politics of fear. and the mixing of fact with hearsay. As a mentor to Karl Rove, Atwater changed politics as we know it today, only to later renounce his checkered past.
